Ice Time

Ice Time

The week on one sheet

Youth winter, adult winter, public skating, rooms, and holds sit on the same week. A day shows who is on the ice. A booking can be tentative, confirmed, or cancelled.

Customers and operators

A customer creates an account, confirms the email, and follows a building. A venue operator runs that building: the schedule, the spaces, the rates, and who else can operate it. One account can rent ice at one rink and run another.

A season in one booking

A time can be a single hour or the same hour repeated through the season. Notes stay with the booking, and a customer’s page lists every ice time that team holds.

Ice that opens up

A cancellation opens that hour again. Ice Time tells customers who follow the building, so a team that wants a last-minute fill-in hears the arena, the day, and the time.

Billing

A venue operator connects the Stripe account the rink already has and requests payment for a booking. The team pays that amount by card, and the booking is marked paid. An hour needs a rate before it can be booked. A holiday can cost more, and one customer can pay under or over the posted rate.

Running a building on Ice Time is its own plan: a monthly subscription after a trial. Stripe processes the card payments. Ice Time keeps the request and the paid booking. It does not send a separate invoice.
